Steven Osovsky, PT, DPT, MS
Dr. Steve Osovsky is a licensed physical therapist and Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy based in the New York/New Jersey area. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Delaware and brings over seven years of experience across outpatient, acute rehabilitation, and inpatient care settings.
Steve’s clinical interests include managing chronic pain and age-related conditions such as osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease, with a strong emphasis on promoting safe, lifelong engagement in meaningful activities. He has worked extensively with older adults in both clinical and community-based settings, including his role as an independent consultant for Maryland’s Community for Life program, where he conducted in-home fall-risk assessments to support aging in place.
With a growing passion for advocacy, Steve is committed to advancing policy that enhances access to physical therapy services for the aging population. He is excited to serve on the Joint Government Affairs Committee (JGAC), bringing his clinical perspective and dedication to patient-centered care to the intersection of legislation and practice.
