ACHH Virtual Seminar - June 2024

Effective March 1, 2023 - All aspects of the ACHH will be stand alone, including the live or virtual seminar, which can be taken as a 15 hour high quality home health continuing education course. 

If an individual wants to pursue the ACHH certificate, they will be required to take what was formerly known as the pre-requisites and will now be called the core bundle.  (These can now be taken before or after the seminar, but must be within 18 months total to be certified).  PTs will continue to take 4 additional hours of electives and PTA will have no elective requirement.

This virtual seminar is a critical part of the Advanced Competency in Home Health (ACHH) program. If you are not already familiar with the requirements of the ACHH program, please review the requirements. This seminar is designed to complement and build on the courses of the ACHH program. During the seminar, participants will revisit and practice skills required for quality cardiopulmonary, orthopedic and balance assessments that will be integrated into clinical vignettes. Throughout the seminar, ethical and regulatory issues, as well as documentation will be incorporated into clinical case studies. Participants should be able to take the skills covered back to their home health settings and incorporate them immediately into patient care. The seminar also offers a huge networking opportunity which is one of the strengths of the program.

Live content will be delivered in a virtual synchronous format with interactive videos and breakout sessions (using a webinar platform such as Zoom). Each virtual seminar will consist of 4 weekend days of 4-hour sessions numbered 1 through 4 which must be taken sequentially. Participants must attend ALL four sessions in their entirety to receive credit. Below is the next VIRTUAL seminar that will be offered. 

June 2024 Seminar (EASTERN Time Zone): 

  • Session One: Saturday, June 1st - 8:00am – 12:00pm ET
  • Session Two: Sunday, June 2nd - 8:00am – 12:00pm ET
  • Session Three: Saturday, June 8th - 8:00am – 12:00pm ET
  • Session Four: Sunday, June 9th - 8:00am – 12:00pm ET

Virtual Seminar Details:

  • Max 30 registrants per seminar. Register Early!
  • To qualify as having completed the live component of the ACHH certification, all 4 sessions will need to be attended sequentially and in their entirety.

  • APTA Member (But not HH member) - $540.00
  • Non-Member - $590.00

SEMINAR CANCELLATION POLICY: Registration for this course is limited. Full refunds will be provided for cancellations received in writing before May 3, 2024. Cancellations on or after May 4, 2024 and before May 19, 2024 will receive a 50% refund minus a $25 administrative fee. There are no refunds for cancellations received on or after May 20, 2024. APTA Home Health reserves the right to cancel the course up to two weeks prior to the course. In the event that the course should be cancelled, registration will be refunded in full.
