Tracey Collins, PT, PhD, MBA, GCADr. Collins is running for Vice President in the 2022 Elections. I have 33 years of clinical experience as a PT, with 26 years in Home Health. I have taught in a PT program for 20 years and have been a GCS since 1998. I have actively served my profession since 1997, starting as the NCPTA treasurer. I have actively served the APTA Home Health Academy since 2012 starting on the Research Committee, then Research Chair and on several special subcommittees: The Value of Home Health PT publication and the APTA Home Health Student Program Task Force. I have seven peer-reviewed publications and have had content in the Quarterly Report of the Home Health Academy twenty-four times. I have presented 12 platform presentations and 22 poster presentations and numerous educational sessions at CSM. I have 3 webinars on physicaltherapy.com and one on Medbridge. Candidate StatementI have dedicated my clinical practice in PT to Home Health for 26 of my 33 years as a PT. I have served on the majority of the committees or provided submissions to the majority of the committees that the Vice-President of the Academy oversees. I also have many years of experience overseeing the financial aspects of APTA Academies and at the state level. It would be an honor for me to serve the Home Health Academy as Vice-President and I believe I have the experience necessary to be successful in the role. |
